Green Machine Timing was established in late 2014 by Shawn Duffey.  Shawn has over two decades of experience in the IT industry as well as many years of chip timing races for Gulf Coast Runners, the running club in the greater Naples, Florida region.  To date Shawn has chip timed over 170 races ranging in length from 1 mile to half marathon distance (13.1 miles).  These races have ranged in size from 100 participants to over 3000.

In addition to chip timing events, Shawn has experience with event planning, logistics, promotion, social media, web hosting, and communications. Our philosophy revolves around using technology to enhance all aspects of a race, before, during and after the event takes place.
